All Welcome
Amalia slid into the maplewood again. Mouth full of rabbit. She slowly found her spot by the riverside and began to peel the fur from the rabbit. She preferred the maplewood at times, it was quiet and serene, perfect to let the furs soak and then dry while she took a nap. No packs were near here, and very seldom was she bothered by lone wolves.

She placed the fur down in the river bed and slowly lay down, her paws stirring up the water. As she waited and watched. Today she didn't really feel like napping, but she was fine in repose. Enjoying the afternoon as it beat down upon her.

Her tail beat the ground gently beside her. As she enjoyed the moment. She briefly closed her eyes, enjoying the rays of sun on her face.

Unlucky for Amalia, Augustin was everything serenity was not.

Nimble paws (which occasionally tripped, but we ain’t counting those minutes) raced themselves through the Maplewood, his eyes seeing enough to get by but paying attention to too little to be considered as anything but a liability. And Augustin liked that sort of life. Giving strangers the unexpected, experiencing the unexpected himself.

He followed the sounds of a stream today and upon glimpsing it’s far bank and the low branches that hung over the waters, he thought it a fine test to see if he could jump the gap and maybe snap up a couple of leaves from one of those trees in the mix of things.

Well, he would have cleared the stream just fine, if it had only been a little narrower. His teeth clicked on air where the leaves should have been, and in some comedic fall, felt nothing where ground should have been - uh oh - and, seconds later, the chilly splash! of the river.

She's going to collect the entire gang soon heh

Amalia heard the rushing of footpaws, and green eyes opened wide as she looked and then there was a blur of fur and teeth and suddenly. He was leaping. Jumping. Her heart leapt into her throat and she couldn't even gasp, before a wave of water hit her, dousing her black fur, her heavy coat clinging to dips and valleys and curves.

Suddenly, she threw her head back and laughed. Loud. Musical. Trilling. She wiped at her eyes with a paw. Nose down. Goodness gracious.

She couldn't calm the laughter down, and she giggled again happily.

Hello there. Water Sprite. She called out.

hahaha I am here for it!! <3

Music met him, the sound of laughter. Distorted by the swirl of water still above his head -- but underwater, the coywolf grinned and splashed through the surface in a graceless breach.

Water streamed down his face and his grin still stretched from side to side -- charming, he thought, though not as much as the trill of the one who joined him near the river.

Why, hullo there miss, he had managed to blink open an eye, smiling all the way, if I'd known a lady like yerself would be near here, I'd'a splashed m'little water sprite self a little further downstream.

He laughed then, deep and true, and romped over the stones with a carefree gait, slipping here and there but never quite falling, not minding too much of lookin' a fool before his company, name's Augustin. Augustin Degaldo, though m'friends call me Nine Lives, if yer in th'mood of guessin' why, though he thought her guessin' would be an easy thing to do. She had intelligence in her verdant eyes, like the gals back in the West. Though none of them had ever much laughed like she had at his antics. It was refreshing, really. And who've I the pleasure o'meetin here? Miss... ?

Water flew atop her again as he breached the surface like some sort of merman. His fur plastered to him, warm eyes hunting hers.

He had scars on his face, but they were hidden by the pleasant smile on his face.

Hello.

She stayed in repose gelreen eyes glittering down at him. She laughed again, nose crinkling in delight.

I didn't mind. You have rainy day eyes.

He laughed, its sound catching as he romped towards her. She worried momentsrily, but she saw his chaotic grace. So bumbling, it was endearing.

Well met Augustin. I'm Amalia Willow, but most just call me Amalia or Lia.

Rainy day eyes? he said through a laugh, then ain’t it grand I ‘Ave a sunny day smile t’outshine th’storm!

She had a musical laugh and a melodious way about her. A softness befitting her femininity, though he did not think her weak. Old friends had taught him not to underestimate even the prettiest of girls.

Well, Miss Lia, th’pleasure’s wholly mine. I’m a practical man a’only couple pretty words, but th’name Willow does the work fer me. Yer eyes are green like th’plants after that rainy day ‘as come and tha’ sunny smile ‘as shines on ‘em.

Another grin, a laugh, a sparkle in his eyes.

She nodded at his question. This is true. Your smile is indeed Brilliant. She wagged her tail, but continued her rest, tilting her head to study him.

Amalia was more feminine than most in her family. Her mother had instilled a sort of grace within her, that she carried.

Amalia laughed again and nudged his paw from her spot. You're a charmer aren't ya, Mr. Nine Lives. She chuckled.

What brings you this way?
