Amalia's head broke across the sandy shores as they sprawled out below her. She lay her ears quickly to her skull at the clear overwhelming sound of barking. Salt was bitter in her nose as the scent of the sea and it's plant life met her pretty black nose.
She stared with awe struck eyes at the gelatinous blobs of moving, noisy creatures as they lay across each other and slapped the ground. She took a step back as one horrifyingly large male boomed out a bark of something.
With anxious air, she stuck to the outskirts the sound of them ringing in her ears. Tail flat against leg. She pushed herself harder than she normally did, flat out running. Not wanting to be attacked.
