sorry this took me a little bit longer than planned to get up!
praimfaya isn't sure the required customs of paying respects and offering condolences to a grieving family. offering the words of your fight is over and helping as she could with the burial of the fallen basilisk didn't feel like enough to her. blodreina says that in their culture there isn't much else and sometimes, depending on the situation — as like with the heda that her mother knew and spoke of but briefly as if her death still hurt her — there was no burial at all. only grief. praimfaya's lips twist around the fox that hangs from betwixt her jaws, healthy and plump with fur at the beginnings of growing coarse and thick for the cooler months, reminding herself that grief is why to be commander is to be alone.
easier said than done though, she thinks and linkoln the 'spirit' of the first wanheda that guides her ( from time to time ) does not argue.
praimfaya's steps slow as she approaches @Ketzia's den figuring that the widowed woman and the basilisk's youngest children are the first she should pay condolences to. in hindsight, the fox felt like too small a homage of respect to pay ...in truth, she wasn't even sure if it would be wanted. but as far as loss goes, praimfaya is blind. she brings them food because she does not know what else she can offer them. she sets the offering down at her paws and lets out a low chuff to announce her presence.

The presence of another has the mother bear within the entrance of her den in moments. Jeweled eyes of green study the young girl, noting the paleness of her fur and her eyes—the lanky build of a youth that would no doubt grow to be beautiful in many ways. She recognized the girl as Ingram and Blodreina’s—but she was not familiar with the family at all, and the realization only attested to her seclusion from Diaspora and what had become of her.
A fox was fit within the Entlein’s mouth, and as her gaze swept up from the charcoal markings of the girl’s face, Ketzia was relieved to see she was alone in her visit, for the pale sylph was not particularly companionable these days.
“Hello,” she greeted softly, the pale blonde of her own fur gleaming against the stark ivory of her own bodice as she slipped from the den entrance, leaving her children to either come out and inspect their visitor or to remain within and sleep away some of their nightmarish grief. “You’re Blodreina’s daughter?” She only knew the name of the fiery woman—and was relieved that it was not one of Takiyok’s brood that stood by her home now.

praimfaya is not sure what to expect, or how her impromptu visit will be taken by the grieving widow, but she is here and she will leave her offering regardless of whether she is chased off or not. still, she can't help but feel palpable relief when she is greeted with a soft 'hello' as ketzia emerges from her den.
hello, praimfaya parrots in common with a slow, tentative wag of her tail.
sha,she chirrups and then realizing her mistake of slipping into trig she offers a sheepish and apologetic look to ketzia and corrects herself,
yes.with a small, sage dip of her head.
i am praimfaya.she offers her name in the next heartbeat, unsure if ketzia would know it. even if she did, it strikes the young girl as polite to offer anyway.
this is for you, praimfaya says abruptly, as if just remembering the fox corpse she'd brought for them.
and your yongons, your children.she nudges it towards the woman and resumes her place a few steps away.
i'm sorry for your loss.praimfaya tells her sincerely, voice low and head slightly bowed before her frostbound silver gaze rises back to ketzia once more.
