Moonspear inhale the stars, exhale fire [m]

She reached for him, curving and arcing fondly as need coursed in waves. His touch along her spine brought with it raised hackles and a deep growl she didn't bother to contain. It grew a little louder with playful undertones when he went for her tail soon after. She danced along lightly, out of reach for a beat but never for long.

It was contact like this that kept her close, though, and demanding that she have more. As much as she'd love to tease and to wind a twisting pathway of allure further up this creek to where it started up the mountainside someplace, she couldn't seem to pull away long enough to make it happen. Not yet. She was far too consumed -- with fondness and instinctual neediness both, so badly that's she's just overwhelmed with the need to not be away from him. 

He's alive, she's alive, and nature has deemed now (of all times) to be the time for her season to come calling. It only feels right to celebrate it, embrace, and enjoy -- especially after harboring her own doubts of if/when it may come at all. Of course, that was just one of many things lately. The famine, the losses, bears, all of the failed hunts, the fragile greenery, and even their very recent struggles.. the list went on. So with all the sorrow and suffering hopefully behind them (a series of events she hoped to officially bookend with the shocking mountain hunt), now feels like the best time to move forward and put distance between them and all the bad. Finally, finally. She's ready. Evidently she'd only needed a little high voltage to remember.

Amekaze circled around him close once more with a thorough lashing of her tail as she roughly combed her teeth through his fur. She trusted he knew what to do as she leaned her hip against his shoulder and angled her tail away from him.
