fff timelines are hard. i'm gonna wing it. maybe she just was super mega elusive-mode until harley crossed paths with her, idk 

In no mood, she stalked down a trail somewhere midway on the mountain with a long, striding walk meant to cover ground efficiently and swiftly. Now and then, she'd lower her muzzle to sniff the earth underfoot but largely, she arced her neck and tail in equal measure as she covered the pathway. She was not sure what may await her wherever she was headed, but it didn't leave her with a good feeling. Nothing did lately. Above all, she just wanted to stay in motion as she sorted her thoughts, and attempted to prepare for what her next move was going to be because it had to be soon

Her nose wrinkled as the winds shifted slightly, for she was feeling peeved by that alone, of all things. In the next breath of a breeze, she realized she was being trailed after, much to her own dismay. Hackles arose, and normally, he of all the wolves walking this great green earth would not receive a greeting of this sort. She slowed to a pause and let his pathway overtake hers.

The dark alpha flagged her tail and glared over her shoulder at him, threatening with a curve of her lips that he make this worthwhile -- and fast.
