she slowed as she neared a small procession -- her family, encircled about a dark and scarred stranger. timidly the child pulled close to casmir, almost instinctively -- her doe-like eyes drawn towards spring and laika. why had they called her? was she in trouble? and who was this black-bound wolf they held congress with?
