it was not sif's fault her tail was gone, indra reminded herself - she cracked a weak smile at sif's excitement. it was all the expression the solemn girl could muster before her eyes flickered to sif in confusion. kona meant nothing to her - was it a name? a title? she gingerly inched closer to the stream as she tried to suss the meaning of the word. "kona?" she repeated, as if thinking it was a name: "no, i'm indra." perhaps she had answered sif's query indirectly. "i'm here with laurel."
