tadec seemed to be searching for something -- perhaps her home? indra motioned in silence to the valley behind them, but remained wordless until tadec explained who frith was. when he turned his fine muzzle upwards indra followed his gaze, squinting as the sun beat down upon them.

he sounded pleased to share his knowledge with her, something indra registered with a sense of appreciation. often when her ignorance was exposed, people were clipped or short with her -- but tadec seemed thrilled to spend time elucidating for her. she thought it kind and for a moment a smile hung loose on her gums.

and then his expression changed; she watched as ice seemed to splinter across it, unfamiliar against the soft burnish of his molten gaze. indra's muzzle slid into a contemplative frown. "you could come to bearclaw sometime." she extended, though she had no idea on xan's stance against halfbloods.
