the snow-pale woman was silent a moment, perhaps pensive in light of indra's sudden defeat. truth be told, indra had been on the verge for weeks -- she was run ragged and bone tired, and just... exhausted.

she wondered what it was like to not be tired all the time. to be happy. and then she remembered so few were afforded that luxury, and that she was wallowing. coldly, she steeled herself to better thoughts -- and returned saucy's absolute resolve with a feigned half-smile. "i suppose we'll find out."
