Ursus had officially formed, and things had not changed. The hands on the clock kept ticking, the wolves - and not-wolves - of the group kept living. But there was a sense of finality here, of the feeling that Evien was in a place where he was meant to stay.

The boy was returning from gathering fresh herbs for his stock when he saw the stranger. His senses were too filled with the scent of the plants held in his maw to tell where the kid had come from, but he'd never seen him around Ursus before.

Evien set the plants down at his feet and cleared his throat for the kid's attention, posture relaxed. "I'd be careful if I were you," he called, a small smile on his maw. "They don't take well to strangers around here."
