The dark woman asked her a question instead, and Arielle looked out over the water before letting her gaze drift upward to the stranger. She shook her head.
N-no,she answered softly, clearly a little nervous.
I was exploring.She swallowed as she worked up the nerve to ask another question.
W-what is fishing?she asked hesitantly. She racked her brain for any times she might have heard the word, but she couldn't remember—not now when she was so unsure about everything,
