Firefly Glen Unchain me, sister (thou shall not fear)

Vairë danced with long, quick strides and short, tight turns, sinewy and quick. In one moment, she was doe dancing after stag. In the next, she was a shining rainbow trout, it’s scales glowing with water.

The man who curved with her and the seal hunter wasn’t familiar, but he was welcome anyway. The doe saw no harm in dancing with him in this way. For her, this was fun, and she was high off the euphoria that seemed to soak into the ground.

The doe would leave tonight knowing she had a stag. And that was all that mattered to her in the end.
