Shadewood Jump into the heat

Sun Eater barked her off with an order. Nutuyikruk took no hurry.

They had traveled far and away from the winterland, and slipped under the noses of rancid borders. Far away from each residence, she had lived a life in every stretch of land and still found no place of home. 

Would Star Eater find them here? Would she want to? Husbands and wives, they loved each other. Somehow their bickering reminded her of a children nipping tails. Did they know they drew blood?

She took to the north, familiarizing herself with the shadewood and yet also melting into feeling her binds untie themselves to saatsine. A choice. Even if she knew she would not take it. The lynx child jumped in circles, acting as though she was as far as the shoreline with salt-wind in her nape, sand below her feet. Though it was humid forest air and wet soil, she pretended.
