Ravensblood Forest Pretense against Pretext

Arrluk's plan of action had been dismissed in some parts and Arrluk yielded to the older wolf's suggestion. Two teams still, but they would not make themselves known with their ruggaging through caches. Instead, they would encircle the first group, keeping guard as they hunted out the captives. Likely so they would be placed in the heart of the territory, surrounded by guards. It would mean the battle would be set with children and mother near. To Arrluk, this could be riskier, yet his way would mean relying on the pirates not catching wind of the ploy. 

Arrluk prayed to the Moon and spirits and pushed forward through the night. His eyes shifting between his father's group and out through the forest around them. All was quiet, for now.
