Pied had given her more to think about. With very little bad to account for, she couldn't deny the pull Horizon Ridge had on her. Now knowing that she was already familiar with several of its fellows only helped and she decided that she would likely find Akhlut sooner rather than later.

Amekaze nodded silently when Pied spoke of heading back, citing valid reasons -- she wouldn't keep her unnecessarily, and Ame could resume prowling the riverside and likely continue onto the beach.
