He welcomed her with open arms (per se) when she hugged tightly against him. He put his muzzle over the back of her neck and purled in her ear, his muscular body veritably vibrating with happiness.

"Speaking of doing it, would you wanna...?" he invited teasingly. "We only have a couple weeks left, then you'll be too uncomfortable for it. Then we'll be pretty fucking busy, in the best possible way." His smile never faltered, though he added more soberly, "Though I promise I won't let it consume me. As soon as we can stand to part from them for a few hours, we'll still do date nights and everything. I wanna make sure we still focus on each other."
