worripa basks in the warmth of the sunshine as it brushes against the dark fur of his back. the morning is hot, humid even and he feels the press of the soupy air ...detectable from the coolness that radiates from the dark mouth of the den he shares with his mother and siblings. from the den, @Praimfaya watches hawkeyed and surly and itching to patrol again — though his mother's often mercurial mood goes unnoticed by him.

he chases a fat, brown grasshopper through the emerald grass, clumsy as he pounces; unknowingly sharpening instincts by the simple game of chase, despite that the grasshopper was much cleverer than him and kept eluding him in bounds and leaps.
