For@Evergreen! Blue Springs Cave.
A new pair of eyes, forged of the richest jade, flickered up to the cloud covered sky. They squinted slightly in contemplation, tracing the falling path of every little flurry that descended towards the earth. Keyni, or simply, "Key" as others nicknamed her, knew that some snowfall into late Spring was not uncommon. Nature and weather, the two mighty forces working in sync for eternity, were anything but predictable. Some years went by the textbook - others threw you for a loop completely. This she understood, and accepted. But never ignored. Keyni may be young, but she was hardly ignorant.
To her surprise and great curiosity, the place she happened upon today was one worth investigating. Her steps slow and deliberate, she approached the mossy boulders, eyeing the opening between them. Her head lowered for a cautionary but investigative sniff. She wanted to know what lay within...but not before making sure the site itself and the area around it, was safe first. Smelling no scent of rival predators, she grew bolder. One ivory fore paw followed the other closer to the entry way. She poked her deceptively delicate looking head inside, blinking her eyes rapidly to adjust to the sudden darkness.

Evergreen grows restless as the days grow longer; he seeks exploration as he once had before disaster struck him. Round ears perk forward, the clumsy bear takes his time today. He slips from Easthollow early in the morning, carving a path southwest, and finds himself amongst a forest. It's new to him, closer to Diaspora than he's traveled otherwise, and he wonders for a moment if the pack had moved like Takiyok mentioned, or if it remains in the same place it had. (Perhaps worth a visit regardless.)
He wanders, aimlessly, and only freezes when he catches the scent trail of another. It does not seem as if a pack holds claim over the territory, but Evergreen grows cautious nonetheless. His steps are taken carefully, and he follows their trail out of curiosity. It differs from the murderer, so he suspects it cannot be him, at least. When he finally spots the wolf, he notices quickly that he can only see part of her. The other looks to be mended with moss covered boulders. That can't be right! His head lifts, eyebrows furrowing.

Without venturing further inside, she would discover nothing. She had a choice to make; either go ahead into the unknown, or take the safer option and linger outside. If she did that, then she would never know what lay inside that opening. While she weighed the benefits verses the risks, she wasn't paying attention to the world behind her.
She wasn't alone. Not anymore. An inquiring voice behind her calls out. Her ears twitching, she pulls her head away and out from the opening. No longer perhaps so blended in, the other wolf should be able to make her out quite clearly now. And there was no missing him. He was big, brown and bear like. With green eyes like her. Keyni didn't appear surprised or alarmed...she had no reason to be. "Oh, hello there. I was just...investigating this little opening in the rock." She gestured with her muzzle towards it, behind her. "You don't know where it leads, do you?"
