Taking cues from his father was working so far. He gained a little courage the more he romped in the swallows and the strange waters. Watching his dad play so casual about them, too, did immediately make him feel better. More and more, the experience got him loosened up and he kicked up his heels, enjoying a splash when he found a deeper spot of them to pounce.

Although.. he wasn't brave enough to roll in it. For right now, he would pass on that, but thanks to a few exaggerated leaps and running romps, he had done a good job covering himself in seawater still—enough to notice, and fill his nose so much despite all of his sniffing around. It was easily a weird sensation for the mountain-born boy.

Amazing? Maybe. Jarilo was learning and getting used to it, but he was excited by the new. He gave a big obnoxious kick of his heels and a yap to voice his opinion, and slowed down somewhat after—mostly when he heard Vela's question. He was curious too.. but wouldn't stay still yet, and drug his paws through the swallow waters continually with his ears pointed towards his speckled family. He was having a good time, though.
