frustration reached a boiling point, and alongside her brother she turned fangs against the stranger. she was angry, confused and felt, quite frankly, rather helpless about the whole of it. when finally the man dislodged her, she was still only a moment before rushing headlong toward him again, but was suddenly starkly aware of the empty space at her side. she stopped, wilting entirely before the depth of the situation became apparent, and scream tore loose from her throat, hateful and raging.

With all the training, Reiko found herself sore - today especially. As the muscles ached and yearned for relaxation, Reiko took it upon herself to leave Kaistleoki lands and head south toward the hot springs. She had heard some members talking about it, the hot springs who were just next door. At least she wouldn't be going far from the others, just a little spa day!
With a cat-like gait, the etherial damsel slowly made her way to the springs, careful paws quietly carrying her to the intended location. Even as she stepped onto the stone, her gentle step barely made a sound, she simply swept within the steam like the phantom she was. The place was unique... pools scattered around, some deeper than others, the steam felt great on her pelt - for a little while, to relax her muscles, she wouldn't like to stay here for too long. But that stench. It made her nose crinkle at the scent.
The scent didn't worry her too much - once she was relaxed enough, she would just roll around in some pine or lavender! An easy fix. For now, she would focus on relaxing her aching limbs. Dipping a paw in one of the pools, she already felt the soothing warmth creep up her leg, and as she was about to climb in deeper - a yell came from the mist. Audits perked in the direction, alert, her heart leaped into her throat. They sounded young and worse, why were they yelling? It didn't sound like pain... not physical at least.

Hello?She called out softly, not able to see any figures in the mist.
Are you okay?Backing out of the waters, only toes wet from contact, she began to wander in the direction that she swore the sound came from, determined to go check on what she assumed was a youth.

Aure! her heart lept and sunk in a single moment, and she burst towards the woman, tail held high. "ma-" the word died in her throat the moment her gaze met the woman's, and two whole eyes peered back. she backpedaled, thrust so suddenly back into the omnipresent heaviness that it almost hurt. this time, anger and helplessness was accompanied by shame.
the stink of the sulfur had her feature wrinkle more than they already were, her ears flattened back. "I'm fine." she replied, though the words were far from sounding stong. stupid, stupid of her. she was so completely stupid.
