All Welcome
@hua

the morning was sunny, clear as jetsam made her way along the shore, following the curve of the coast as if guided by the sea itself. the coast is where she is most comfortable and in a land full of varying unknowns the sea is like a beacon, the shine of a lighthouse's fire guiding her wayward ship to the safety of harbor. a breath is taken as she gives pause to survey her surroundings, noting that it would be wise to stay clear of the sunbathing sea lions sprawled out along the higher dunes of sand. cautious, as to not disturb the beasts, she pushes forward, gaze sweeping and ears alert atop her skull.

Huā creeps along the shore in quiet, eyes peeled upon the rising lands. She was not sure why a lone wolf might torment the beasts without reason, without a fellow hunter- but she'd seen it the day before, and was all the more wary of it now. She would not let the population be frightened away by stupid loners- she would see it maintained; picked at just enough on the right occasions to keep them under control and yet not so often as to cause migration.

Today when her eyes found the colony, they seemed content. As always, some loud bellows came- but ultimately they sunbathed, which satisfied Huā greatly. Happy sea lions now meant a bountiful feast later- and so her gaze fell to the shore before her again, until it settled on a woman who was not so far off. An agouti, with shining green eyes that seemed to compliment the depths of the sea. Huā was intrigued, and pressed forward toward the figure, halting just a couple yards off.

Greetings, stranger, The empress called shortly, tail flicking this way and that.
