Scout was looking for a place that might accept him as a non-fighter. Swordfish didn’t think that the creek would have any issues with that. Akavir had seemed level-headed in their short talk. Moss was also kind, even if she made him feel like she would bite his ears off if he misbehaved or wasted her time. Scout could do well there. It would have been nice to have someone around the same age.
