All Welcome
Lately, Otter had been feeling unsettled and was frequently absent from the Taigh. She eagerly ventured around her family's property, committing to memory the different notable landmarks adults had shown her in the past.

Today, she opted to play in the shallow waters at Ray's Beach. She remembered Towhee's advice about staying with a buddy, which prevented  her from going further out and prompted her to make small splashes near the shore.

Since joining the Copse’s ranks, Seal re-committed herself to memorizing every nook and cranny.

Eventually, her path led Seal to the river where she saw Otter playing in the shallows.

“Otter! Hi sis!” Seal called, voice jubilant. Recently, the young woman had been caught up in the idea that the grass was always greener on the other side… now, she was glad to have chosen to be with her kin.

Otter stopped and turned at the sound of Seal's voice, her expression brightening as she watched her sister approach. Och! she exclaimed as she emerged from the water to meet her sibling halfway. Hey sis! she parroted back cheerily.

Whatcha doin? she asked, tipping her head back to meet her gaze.

Dripping wet, Otter looked just like her namesake. “Lookin’ for you, silly,” Seal announced with a jolly wave of her tail, happy to be with her sister.

“How’s the water? Are you catching fish?” she asked as she booped Otter’s snoot with her own.
