Just catching up on what Seal’s been up to since I’ve been a little MIA. Tagging for Vis.

Winter went out fighting. Small snow storms signaled the season’s last breaths as Spring bloomed. Perennial tubers burst from the ground as pink bulbs formed on the branches of trees. Choirs of birds sang noisily and enjoyed the warm rays of the sun.

Life in Brecheliant was peaceful.

Seal absorbed each lesson with @Bridget and @Teya as if she had a bottomless appetite for knowledge. With Bridget, she practiced herblore. With Teya, she learned about the heavens and their constellations. Soon, Seal preferred to wander at night… watching the twilight sky brought her peace. Perhaps, because, it complimented @Sialuk’s teachings about their ancestors and the natural world.

Three, nearly four, months had passed since Seal ventured from Moonspear to begin her journey as a woman. For a wolf only a year old, it felt like an eternity. Seal had always figured this road would have an end. A goal to be met. However, the girl found the more she learned, the less she knew. This unsettled her. The world was full of knowledge and she had only just brushed the surface.

Where did this road lead? Would she ever return home?

Seal felt more lost than ever.

That day, she had gone exploring with @Bronte. It was a nice distraction from the endless ruminations of her mind. That night, she lay alone beneath a pine tree, looked at the stars, and felt very small.
