Emberwood No shortage of sordid, no protest from me

She would find him and inform him of what she had found after speaking with the pale man at the border - but how? They hadn't even uttered two words to each other since either of them had joined Uaine Gorsedd, and now, he was leading them while Ibis was ill. Now she was seeking an audience from him after meeting a stranger at the border... would he welcome the news? Did he even care about Bhediya now that she was no longer a part of the pack?

She followed his scent, slowly but eventually, she would find him. She had to build up the nerves to speak to the large dark man after all. With a gentle stride, careful steps, she wandered closer Sir? She announces herself quickly enough as to not try and be weird by sneaking up on him.

His scent trail would lead to his usual place patrolling the borders. He had been there for longer than normal today, the disappearance of his daughter dominating his thoughts. He couldn't help but feel like he had driven her away. She was just a few weeks shy of a year and old enough to be on her own. She had certainly expressed to him often her desire to go out on her own, and he had only ever responded with his disagreement. He didn't think she was ready and had tried to tell her how dangerous the world was but at some point, he had to let her make her own mistakes. He could only hope that she, Zephyr, and Helios made their way back to him.

He was lost in his depressing thoughts as she approached, but her steps pulled him from his mind. He paused and turned towards her as she greeted him. They had not spoken one on one before, and so he automatically went to the worst case scenario for why she might be seeking him out today. Reiko, he greeted with a dip of his head. Is everything okay? His brow creased with worry. He hoped there had been no more trouble from Pygmalion.

Watching his face morph into a concerned expression only weighed on her more. Trying to swallow the hard lump in her throat, she cast her gaze to his side to try and ease her worry by not studying his face too much. Just next to his face to keep somewhat of eye contact going.  Finally, her lips parted to divulge what she had encountered at the borders.

Artyom of Whitebark Stream came by at the borders, asking if any of us has been Bhediya lately. Heavy with pups, she apparently vanished. Trying her best to remember the details of the conversation, every name that was shared. The man was kind, she would remember that without fault. A man named Sunny, and his son Valiant have also gone missing according to Artyom. Nervously kicking at the ground, only now did her cerulean eyes try to reach for the green gems of Kavik to finish her little speech.
