All Welcome
Today, Aiden decided to venture a bit beyond the usual borders. He was half a year old now, after all, so he was feeling pretty mature and all that now that he'd grown into most of his height and all he now had left to do was to fill out. Already he was a fairly broad boy, looking a few months older than he actually was. The prairie was not very far from Redhawk Caldera; only just beyond it, but it felt like a real outing. Aiden hadn't told his father, who could sometimes be just a little overbearing, though he had mentioned to @Maia that he was going 'out to play', just so she knew he was outside, at least.

Aiden sniffed around on the plains a bit. His tail betrayed how tense he was, but at the same time he could not help but feel very cool running around outside the territory. He halted as he noticed the big rock in the distance and lifted his head to realise that it carried the thick scent of wolf.

perhaps any of Akashingo's pups? @Makono @Toula @Medusa

he never meant to disturb a boy's independence, especially as part of a pack he wasn't altogether incorporated with.

instead, he lingered at the fringes, watching the boy that resembled brecheliant's top guard explore. only when danger struck—if it even did—would aditya intervene.

for now, he was content to watch.

and revel in the freedom of it all. the exploration. he missed when every corner of the earth was something new.

he would live vicariously through these youngsters.

Aiden was so captivated by the big rock ahead that he did not even notice Aditya's appearance. Instead, the boy focused on the strangers living in the distance and he started to approach the large rock slowly and carefully. Aiden wanted to be prepared for anything that met him head-on, and it showed in the tenseness of his body — he was prepared for what came head-on so much that he did not realise that someone was watching his back.

aditya remained hidden. again, he didn't want to spoil the boy's hunt. and without outside interference, he wuld remain undetectable.

but should the boy focus his way. . .

he smiled, the corners of his eyes creasing in mirth. he would reveal himself when necessary.

Nobody showed up, it would seem, as Aiden paced alongside the borders. He decided then that he would return another day — maybe they were busy, or whatever, and he didn't want to intrude any further. Maybe he could get his mother to give him a message to deliver some day, just so that he had an excuse to call for someone.

As Aiden turned around, his eye suddenly caught — was there someone hidden out there? Hey! Aiden called out to try and prompt a reaction. That way he could better see if he was right, or if he was just imagining things.
