Around her throat she bore her own pouch of healing herbs. Her father had taught her how to roll a fur. IT took a lot of work, but it was easy with nose. The small torn pieces of other fur separating the herbs and then he had showed her, with the death of one of claw tips. How to bore a hole, he hadn't told her that she would have to press down so hard that her claw would also go through the dirt and very possibly break. Not cool dad. And then it was held tight with a branch she had gnawed off a tree to hold it tight. It was not easy to make and it hurt, but she had one just like him.

She also carried beaver fur, weasel fur and a deer pelt her father had gifted her. The herbs, her skill and the beaver and weasel fur were for the pack to accept her. The deer for her den. he had told her how to behave and had explained she always had a home if she found she wanted to go back to the spear.

This time she did not barrel over the pack lands and she realized. Sadly that she did not know the beast's name still to this day that lived here. Oh well. She lifted her nose to the sky and called out for a leader. @Callyope or @Solharr

the foggy state of winter thickened the forest.

yet still she must walk the woodlands. unable to simply spend her days in an idle state. it would do no one any good if she became lazy with the cold weather.

it made her grateful that someone called. it pushed her to unfurl her legs and begin the walk towards them.

a girl of moonspear. was this the one?

you have come to forneskja, i am its seiðkona. eyes warm upon the growing girl. perhaps she should be in a rush to discuss the business, but she wishes only to be welcoming. was your travel from moonspear of ease?

Kinusi took the waiting time to study the forest and the fog that rolled through it. The mountain tips could get foggy and so could the forest, but this was a whole type of different. And it fascinated her. She immediately wanted to sing a song, lilting and perhaps a little sad. But she didn't. But this forest and it's place. The songs were deep and heavy and sad. She could feel it. But they would make your heart whole just as they broke it.

This woman was pale and pretty. She looked a bit like Lady Sialuk of Moonspear. Which dad had told her this one was a sister, he was pretty sure.

Kinusi nodded her head. Yea coming down the mountain is always easier than going up. I'm Kinusi Willow daughter of Elentari and Alaric. Bard and healer respectively.

She was not as skilled as her father or her mother. But she knew enough to heal small wounds, keep them clean. And it wasn't like she couldnt' always go ask her dad if something was needed that she didn't know. She had only ever wanted to be a bard, but dad had told her. She had to offer more than simply that. So she had followed in his footsteps a bit.

your father has come down to trade, he is a welcomed face.

and as such her own approval warmed softly. she knew child was different to parent, but both seemed to have such promise to them!

the girl even gave her own skills on display now! bard, how fancy a title. how wonderful it would be to fill the forest with more voices, songs and stories.

and is it a place among us that you have come for, daughter of moonspear?

perhaps it is abundantly clear that callyope will welcome her, but she thinks this important. the lessons in border discussions — for both of them!

Kinusi laughed then. He is often a welcomed face. He has a way bout him. Before he settled moonspear he was a roving bard, storyteller and healer. And I am sure he'll visit often. He's that type.

Kinusi nodded her head. Yea if you don't mind a youngling still learning her trades. A smile then and a dip of her head

good, she thought. the ties between moon villages might come easier, but would need to be forged all the same.

i always welcome those learning. she beamed a smile now and beckoned the girl to come with. i will show you all there is and perhaps you might tell me where you wish to make your own space.

Kinusi had no doubt in her choices. She was painfully unfailing happy about it. But what she was worried about was not knowing a soul. Even mist had not sought her out in sometime. And so here she was.

A small nod. sure thing. Lead the way Lady Callyope.

she would explain as they walked, all the locations they saw or glimpsed at.

the heimtré, her place of importance. how it acted very much like the heart of the forest and thus the heart of forneskja. there held healing places and words of worship.

the glen with its brief clearing, circled by evergreens. a place where flowers would sweep through in beauty that was theirs to hold and share. she was eager to see many gather there when the occasion called for it.

there were plenty of other deep parts of the forest. she believed some things might best be kept for the girl's own exploration, or learning through other faces.

there might be stony spots free, if you ever miss the mountains.

her smile, soft and warm.

Kinusi listened made note of thr more important places. While searching out her own space. Though she did not have one yet or would for a brief time. She was picky about her sleep place the magpie that she was.

I will seek them out. Thank you.

A soft smile for the lady of forneskja.

fade and something new soon? <3

thank you, she said with a wide sway of her tail. it is good to have your face here.

youthful and learning. the future was in this growing girl — not matter if she stayed here or ventured off again one day.

Absolutely <3

Kinusi had grown up with the way the wolves of moon villages talked. But sometimes it still surprised her. The shere politeness of it. It was not how her father talked. Oh he was a polite man. But when he was alone. Well he just spoke whatever came to mind. Kind of how Kinusi existed in her life.

Welcome.

Kinusi would follow with joy. Eagerly soaking in the place of forest and loam. That was now home.
