"I'm on it!" Charon said hastily when Thistle said that she and the pups were hungry. "Seeya in a bit, I'll go find you guys some food." With those words, Charon turned around and ran off. He hadn't done a whole lot of hunting on his own yet, but he'd been taught quite a bit by Gunnar and other wolves of the pack. He'd catch something, eventually, and it would be good practise.

It took Charon a couple of hours before he managed to catch an old emaciated rabbit. Maybe others might not have thought much of a catch like that, but Charon carried it proudly to Thistle's den, head held high in pride.
