A happy sense of anticipation filled her as Floki excitedly seized upon her idea. She already looked forward to their upcoming vacation. She loved the sense of freedom and independence that came with wandering but she looked forward to having a travel buddy for the first time. It thrilled her that it would be Floki of all wolves and she was glad they shared similar interests.

When he suddenly declared his affinity for her again, Wildfire felt a happy heat in her cheeks. Suddenly she felt coy. "Oh, yeah?" she countered. "Well, I was kidding around too. I actually find you repulsive," she said in the instant before she grinned and planted a sloppy kiss right on the tip of his snout.
