Apologies in advance, Olive’s a weirdo :)

During her short time as a packwolf, Olive had quickly grown accustomed to her new identity. Her days of frivolous liberation and eschewing responsibility were behind her, replaced with a spirit of fortitude and renewed purpose. Olive had graciously been given the means to a family, the ability to formally pursue a trade and an [ultimately] happy life through Teaghlaigh. Olive [ever a servant to creation] was not a different or redirected wolf by any means - but rather, her eternal reverence swelled to include the Teaghlaigh family as well as the spirits of the forest.

Even so, the sprite had been so preoccupied with the semblance of family that she had somewhat swallowed her own wayfarer desires. However, one bright morning Olive awoke with her hungry heart gnawing at her chest, yearning for the expansiveness that lay outside of Ravensblood Forest. Above all else her target was a mountain that existed far in the distance, scraping into view over the crest of Ravensblood Forest’s canopy. It’s very existence enticed Olive and lit a fire within her, even from afar.

But now was the moment to seize the adventure!

Having been alone in her slumber, Olive was certain no foul play would be committed via an afternoon's retreat to one of planet's most ancient sages [for mountains were masters of conflict and power, and were always willing to share their wisdom]. She took off running past the scent borders of Teaghlaigh, greatly enjoying the freeing motion of her limbs and acute winds whipping at her coat. With her tongue nearly lolling out the side of her mouth in uninhibited joy, Olive cantered over the paths and landscapes which directed her to that distant mountain - the ancient being which called her forth.

As Olive’s alabaster paws carried her over the rolling hills of the mountainside, she slowed her gait to a halt. She had made it and [as she had hoped] the ground here was alive with energy. It radiated in imperceptible…yet deeply soulful waves. Olive felt it whisper in her paws and snake up her graceful legs, quickly overpowering her. The fae was eager to ground herself within this powerful force; as such, she lowered her lithe body to the dirt and became one with the earth.

Then, she was alert.

There was another wolf in the midst, for the winds carried tones of a sweet, musky scent on its fingertips. Olive’s green orbs scanned over the succulent landscape until her gaze fell upon the darkened pioneer, a man who too was earnestly committed to his journey across the gentle slop of the mountain. Olive followed his form as he sauntered ever closer, stopping only when the they were face to face. Olive remained laying the ground, looking up at him - it was atypical for her not to rise as another [foreign] wolf approached, but she was rather reluctant to relinquish her coveted earthly connection. The male chuffed a friendly greeting and a smile tugged at Olive’s lips. She cocked her head to the side and tipped her ears forward, silently inviting him to further introduce himself.
and all my days are trances, and all my nightly dreams
are where thy grey eye glances, and where thy footstep gleams
in what ethereal dances, by what eternal streams
