perhaps indra was the most boring conversant or companion ever, because she didn't say anything at all. instead she just dully stared at him like a stupid girl, watching him wordlessly as he sailed past. if he wanted to be weird, she wouldn't rain on his weird-ass parade -- but she would not be involved in it either.
