Dawnlark Plains It isn't what it seems

since this is old and we have the actual conception thread going i went ahead and just wrapped this one up. i hope that's ok. ♥

he won't last long. a few more moments of drawn out bliss seize control of the tundrian before he reaches the tipping point. when he does, he gives a last rock of his hips against her's and tightens his grip as the world shatters and he spills his seed within her. strength waned and sides rising and falling with heavy breathes of exertion ( he really needs to work on that stamina, he thinks ) and he slides off of elixir's back so she does not have to bear the brunt of his tired weight. his movements are careful — mindful that they remain entwined — feeling more natural to stand back to back with her.

eventually the pair part and head off in their respective directions. wintersbane doesn't forget about their little tryst and what it might mean but he doesn't pin it to his focus either. it can't be undone and time would perhaps tell. maybe it wouldn't. either way he has a lot of work to do he reminds himself and slips back into work mode with relative ease as he continues his assessment of neutral territories of the taiga.
