Still, trying for paws first seemed like a good idea. "Just keep testing this paw as much as you can," said Valiant, bumping his nose into her left front leg. "When you can pull it out, try and keep it lifted as much as you can. My legs are a bit long, so I think I'm safe as long as I'm careful — so when you're free, I want you to try and hook your front legs over my back, and we'll try to wiggle your bum out, too."

He was already getting to work, digging carefully around the shewolf's paw.
