Yeah, that sounded kind of right. Strangers were just weird in general though, he couldn't blame her for being cautious. I mean some stuff everyone has to learn. Other stuff is just for fun, so there's gotta be something even if she goes with 'I dunno.' I think it's the whole not having to rely on everyone else to do stuff thing? Just a guess though. It at least kind of made sense. Mal certainly felt better once he learned how to hunt so he could metaphorically flip Elysium the bird and scram.
