The second body collided with that of his son pretty soon after that, leaving Reyes to stare down at the two of them. No hello, no checking-in to make sure nothing was broken (they were boys, they could handle it), just a perplexed moment passing between.

Then as Reyes remembered his role as the father in this scenario, he barked out, Hey, kids.
