Ashlar too was distracted, but he still continued on with a cheerful affect. He had a job to do, things to collect, borders to walk and recruits to find. All the while something bothered him, but it wasn't enough (yet) to drive him to action.

He was finishing a circle of the territory when he passed by Ratio and noticed that something seemed to be wrong. Ashlar paused uncertainly, noticing immediately the tension that seemed to roil off of him. Did something happen?

He stepped forward with ears splayed, head tilted questioningly. Ashlar didn't want to startle him or push him to answer, but if something was wrong, perhaps he could help.
