he met the water with a smack that suggested he was heavier than he truly was.
now his narrowness was exposed in full. his curled fur hung heavy from the water, clinging to the sharpness of his figure. how uncomfortable it all felt!
so he quickly clambered upon a surface the seafarer stood upon. unaware of what she had found.
he blinked, attempting to will the salt away from his eyes.
