Greatwater Lake touch my neck and walk me home

When she reached the water’s edge, Seal did a little hop to try and break the ice.

No luck! The frozen water was far thicker than she had assumed. Seal began to look down the shoreline for a place where the ice was already broken – perhaps where an herbivore had kicked it in to get a drink.

A distant voice called to Seal. Her head swung around and spotted a dark figure among the snow. He was too far away to make out any details – but it was evident to her that she did not know them. Always the optimist, Seal responded with a “hi!”
