Though Hydra said she did not wish for Speedy to give birth on the mountain, it was clear that she also understood there simply was no other way as was. Charon didn't really think they would steal resources; he believed that they could hunt enough to make sure there was plenty for both litters to co-exist. We will make sure there is enough for both. Right now we simply do not have the numbers to split off just yet. That's a reality we will have to form plans around. Maybe another punishment could follow. Charon's stomach twisted as he thought of the pleasant weeks he had spent alongside Speedy and how he did not wish for her to be harmed, but he also recognised rationally that these bonds formed were partially simply because of the hormones that had driven their minds mad. He liked Speedy, and he wished to keep her here, but right now things were complicated at best.

Hydra went on to suggest that they should speak with Arcturus and if he did not wish it, then maybe Revui. Revui did seem a good choice, for he was loyal and sturdy and did not use much words. A risk in some way as it was hard to tell what went on in his mind, but as long as their family was united Charon did not think it would be a problem, for he was raised to follow the Ostrega family's wishes and had not betrayed them yet. His only risk lay when they were divided. At Hydra's question, Charon said: Only to Arcturus. He did not remember why precisely, but somehow it had seemed important. Maybe because the boy had seemed the only rational family member in a sea of chaos and anger directed at him, and he needed an ally at the time.

He bobbed his head and said: Let's put this plan before your mother. And let's hope it will mend our bond like it has ours. He offered a small smile, a tiny extended bridge towards his daughter, hoping that this would truly bring their family together again. Then Charon lifted his nose and called for @Amekaze's presence here, in some of the mountain's higher reaches.
