Lost Creek Hollow And the roof is caving

Had it been any other time in the pack's history, Arbiter would have been tempted to let nature take its course.  But could the pack afford it?  Probably not.  Instead, they could gain a wolf that would be in their debt... Perhaps that would make her more reliable than some of the others.

She took another couple of steps forward.  Can you walk, and what do you need? Do you know?  She was not the medic.  Was anyone?  She was pretty sure that everybody probably knew a little -- combine a lot of little bits and they'd probably had enough to keep people alive. Arbiter sniffed at her.  At the very least she hadn't seemed to reek like that one wolf whose tail was rotted... So, otherwise...?
