Clarence brushes beneath Santiago's chin one more time with a quiet hum and nodded his head, tail wagging behind him as his mate suggests they go get some food. 

For him, Santiago had never really changed. He'd never really known him to be anything but soft, so this just felt normal and natural. Weird that he was sharing it with someone else, but he was trying to get used to that. To Serem. But he probably could, with time. 

Still, for now, he didn't have to think on it too much. For now, he had Santiago there, and they could go get food, and things were perfect.
