The noise behind her caused an ear to turn back, though her eye remained forward. Soon she felt herself lifted up, and was quiet; did not struggle. There was a peace found in father's grasp, and her body slumped as tension left her muscles, allowing herself to be moved whichever way he desired like a ragdoll. Her eye found Altair below then, and she smiled softly.
