Artok patrolled the borders like a mad man. Irritation in his face as he took in the sights. He was bored, it was plain and simple. He was just bored, bored with the here and now, bored with life, bored, bored bored. He also was a distant creature. He honestly did not know hardly anyone that took up residence with him. He didn't even know all the pup's names. Desna was the only one. Well he knew their names and he knew the one...alex he thought it was was like Scarlett, but the rest he had no clue. He really neede dto remedy that, he was really a very terrible big brother. He sighed and with one last foot patrol around, he settled at the entrance to the valley and just watched and waited. Maybe he would be lucky and someone would come to the borders, or maybe he would be unlucky and someone from inside would come out. He didn't know if he could even hold conversation anymore, having been so long since he had.
Artok has a permanent limp in his front right foreleg.

Patrolling was easy. It was a job someone who had nothing else better to do, would do. It was a way to release strain from a mind. Exercise. Focus.
Easy.

Occasionally, Cry would scare up a meal to keep himself occupied, or simply to fill caches if they were not full or if he wasn't hungry, but today was different.
There was someone from the pack, doing the same thing.

This grey wolf didn't have the stature of the Alpha, nor the size, or movement. It was a younger lupine, one who the dark prince had not yet met.
He hated socializing.

Walking near the younger brute, Cry murmured a greeting.

"Hello."
