he felt her body align next to his and all coherent thought (was there any in ingram's brain anyway?) suddenly vacated. he was only aware of her presence. a sheepish, embarrassed smile climbed his thin muzzle and he drove himself to speak: "i'll be your boyfriend forever, too." he insisted sappily, a rapid beat of his tail given in happiness. arrille was all but forgotten now; all that mattered to ingram in this moment was the glorious, nonpareil girlfriend in front of him.
