All Welcome
I meant to get this up ages ago but trololol I suck. Lightly pping Delight. Tagging father-unit!

Eventually they made it. @Delight led them away from the willows and the three of them spent some time camping out in the wilderness, which was spooky but a lot more fun that Ibis anticipated, and after some more travel they came upon the territory borders. It was here that Delight made the kids stop and linger; teaching them proper etiquette so that they didn't get in trouble as adults, maybe. She did as she was told, and nestled close to @Okeanos while their escort's pretty voice lilted through the air, but as it died on the wind and they were left to wait patiently for interception, Ibis couldn't help but feel anxious. She huffed softly at her brother's scruff and breathed a deep, deeeep sigh. She didn't know if she was excited or frightened by the prospect of visiting @Terance and this new place, but if Okeanos was with her she knew she'd be alright.

gonna pp del in this bc i can B)

the journey was tiring -- but delight doesn't mind. it's a good opportunity to spend more time with seabreeze and olive's children, though he knows he will never try to be a parent to them. if he can reach 'liked-enough guardian figure' that will do.
arriving at the borders of terance's home he is quick to set up a call, though he takes a stance behind the children, not wishing to intercede in their family bonding time.

--

as delight's call fades into the air okeanos squeezes closer to his sister, excitement bubbling up in him. at first their moving had been unsettling and scary to him but once they settled into the willows -- and okeanos realized he could see his papa more often than he was -- things became better. unlike ibis, after all, he's already been here (a fact he has told her in attempts to reassure her) and soon they'll both be big enough they can come visit all on their own! who said being a child of divorce had to be hard.

still...

"he'll come soon," oke mumbles, half to ibis, half to himself -- though whether it's meant to be reassuring or it's his own nerves showing is ambiguous.

o fuck i was waiting for oke to post and then i just totally forgot about this thread hehe sorry

of course he came. as quickly as he could too. terance heard the call of delight and came immediately, not entirely sure what it meant but anticipating the presence of his children along with him. sure enough, there they were. three of 'em, delight seeming to be leading, but okeanos and ibis pressed close to one another. the sight gave terance all sorts of happy mushy gross feelings. inwardly, he wondered if he'd feel this way about the children he and treason were bound to have -- he wondered how strained that relationship was. secretly, he couldn't see it being as poor as his and seabreeze's. it was good while it lasted, at least. terance believed that.

"come're!" terance barked as he broke into a trot through the clearing, ready to take both of them up in a warm embrace, "you came so soon -- it's so good to see you again." and then his forest gaze travelled to delight, ears cupping forwards, "thank you for traveling with them, delight," he said with a smile.
