he was a stupid man after all, but ying need not signal him a third time. asmodeus did not give an verbal explanation for the lateness of his reaction, only glanced toward her distant island as if to suggest it was the reason for his discreetness. if she did not believe him, it did not matter.

he stepped toward her, breath warm against the bulb of one ear as he slid one foreleg across her shoulders and began to shift his weight, wary lest this be another game and she turn her fangs upon him. but his movements were confident, teeth trailing through the fur of ying's nape as he went.

Soon enough, the pair had joined. Ying positioned herself beneath him and closed an eye as the movements began, eventually easing into a more comfortable rhythm. She stood on shaky legs as he continued, purring quietly with each tug at the fur lining her spine. 

The game eventually ended. She smiled and caught her breath, turning a watchful side-eye to her partner. Ying would not say a word, but wait for Asmodeus to speak first.

he spun out in a leery pleasure, one that spread like sunglow through his body and left him sittingg languidly alongside her. lips curved wryly as his tongue lolled in a brief pant, the cheerless nature of his eyes somehow lit with an odd fire. "i've never enjoyed games so much," asmodeus muttered glibly, though as his body began to restore itself, with it came his stamina. "and i enjoy playing them with you."

Another soft laugh. Come back soon, she told him, We will play again. Ying would have to time things carefully; her heat would come soon, and while her various endeavors had been fun, she did not want to end up with any of their children. Asmodeus was perhaps the most entertaining of all, but he would have been the least of her options. 

She waited patiently for the bond to break before slowly pulling away. But do not come to my island, she warned. As she had mentioned, her family live there, and it was best if they remained oblivious. Ying brushed once more against his shoulder and nipped playfully at his ear before heading back to her post.

he was unused to this; historically, it had been asmodeus who fucked and fucked off, in that order. but ying left him with a warning before the warmth had fully departed. the pale wolf turned at once, refusing to watch her leave as if he were some lovelorn boy; she had done him well, and spurred by his fantastic luck, asmodeus passed by, jaws parted in a small grin.
