All reticence left Stag as Ego marched forward, closing the final strides in long-legged leaps. Stag rushed forward, eager to close the gap -- his tail beating wildly against his hips as he received his brother.
He slid to a halt as did Ego, his legs trembling -- the disbelief transforming into giddiness as he realized yet another part of his fragmented family had finally returned. Stag's breaths were shaky, but he did not stand still for long -- he crouched into a rough playbow, throwing one large paw at Ego's face in a swipe before he cavorted out of range.
