Sea Lion Shores Within the swelter of the night

The man spoke of a god. Huā thought briefly of Mei, and her Gods, but doubted this man shared any beliefs in the Gods 沧 and 日照。Nevertheless, Huā was not judgemental on the basis of religion, and rather listened with dark ears thrust forward until he offered they make a pick. If Vanity was confused by Huā's hospitality, she did not know Huā very well- the siren's prime reason for territorialism was based in the care of nature. When animals could be hunted in a smart and sustainable way, there was little issue, and especially with herself being able to monitor the hunt, she did not mind sharing food. 

Her azure gaze swept across the population of beasts that lay ahead of them, dissecting the strengths and weaknesses of individuals, assessing the best targets and sorting them into a group which she continually narrowed. Eventually she pointed to a particular one, How about him? He was a young male who lie at the fringes of the group, unprotected- and she could see why he was ousted. There was a nasty wound upon his face and across one eye where something else had surely tried and failed to eat him. His body was fine, untouched by injury, and she knew the meat there would be perfect, but his weakened vision provided the perfect disadvantage in order to pick him off. She glanced to either of her companions, eager to let them lead the way if they agreed.
