Redhawk Caldera i thought i saw you at the bus stop

There was no responding howl this time. Sorana scooped her ears as far forward as they could go, the bases quivering and aching with the strain, but no voice rose over the rippling water. She slumped back, disappointed.

That was when her keen little eyes picked out the shadow on the other shore. From here, Sorana couldn’t make out who it might be. She leaned forward so far that she stumbled a little, catching her toes just at the edge of the water and stretching her nose into the humid breeze.

Soft grass whisking underfoot drew Sora’s attention away from the silhouette across the lake. She beamed a huge smile and curved a quick figure eight around his legs. Daaaa! he squeaked, turning back to the water. Oooo?
