All Welcome
Seal was so excited for the new babies in the pack!

Today, she had plucked a few yellow and purple wildflowers for @Sialuk and @Elentari to decorate their homes with. Then, she headed towards where the two women denned.

The young girl practically idolized Moonspear’s leader and hunter. Both were so beautiful, elegant, strong, and wise… Seal felt like a toad beside them!

“Are the babies here yet?” Seal whispered.

Elentari stuck close to Sialuk as their pregnancies' progressed. Though she had somewhat of an independent streak, she felt compelled to watch over her lover when she could. They were both destined to be first time mothers, after all.

They had no shortage of doting from Argent and many of the other villagers as well. All to whom, their help she accepted openly. Warmly and with a smile. She did well not to venture far from her mountain home, especially as she progressed late into her term.

Some women grew snippy and temperamental during the late stages, or for their entire pregnancy. Not her. Instead, the Archer found herself placid. Receptive, warm and joyful as her time drew ever closer. Such was the reception young Seal received as she paid the women a visit. She was such a sweet, thoughtful, adorable girl!

With a soft, inviting whine and a thump of her tail, she stretched out her dark muzzle to to greet her. Combing her teeth gently along the outer line of her ear. She remembered the day she and Orca were born, with such clarity. "Soon. Any day now." Gently, she shifted onto her side, openly exposing the round bulge of her tummy. "You can feel them move, if you like. They'll be able to feel you, inside." She smiled. She couldn't wait for Seal and Orca to have younger play mates to grow up alongside with.

@Meerkat had done well to warn her daughter that Sialuk or Elentari might not want to receive visitors – but that hadn’t stopped the plucky girl from trying. Despite her excitement, she managed to act polite and give the den a wide birth.

But when Seal heard Elentari’s inviting voice the girl sunk to her belly and shuffled forward. Her bat-like ears laid flat against her head and her tail curled under her belly. A wide, submissive smile was like a bow on the proverbial package that was stamped: I am no threat and I grovel before you! Seal showed the Envoy every ounce of respect she could muster.

A quick lick was planted on the dark woman’s chin before her posture relaxed a little. “I brought you flowers,” she said, depositing the blooms at her feet. Her dark-brown eyes sifted to observe Elentari’s plump belly. Had her own mother, Meerkat, once looked this way?

Any day now… the mother-to-be explained. “Really?” Seal said under her breath. Elentari did look like she was about to pop! Seal placed a gentle paw against the Archer’s curved midsection and waited. A few rises and falls of breath… and then suddenly a kick!! The sensation was so weird that Seal pulled her paw away at first with a gasp. “It… it moved!” Seal exclaimed in disbelief … even though Elentari said it would happen.
